We headed to the school today while our friend, John headed to the airport to check on the bags - unfortunately only 2 had been found......

On a brighter note, we found a lot of happy, smiling children at Tumaini!  What a wonderful time spent touring the classes, then handing out t-shirts!  Polly was able to get a really good deal on the shirts, so they had money left over so all the students received a pair of gym shorts as well!!!
Yellow shirts, red shorts for the girls; red shirts, blue shorts for the boys!  The students were excited and changed into their new gym attire right away!!  It was a rainbow of colours throughout the school.

In going through the lists with Polly, we have about six students who have had to move to their rural home for various reasons - Polly is waiting on a couple to see if they are returning.  We will contact those sponsors directly.  We also took information on another ten students who would really like to be sponsored by Kids for Kids!  So if anyone knows someone who might like to sponsor a student, let us know!!

After that we had a nice dinner at nice Indian restaurant!  Our appetites were up after an hour in Nairobi traffic to get across town!!  What a very scary scene - we are not the least bit interested in driving ourselves here!!!!

Our host, Johstone, giving us the tour of the grounds. The hostess, Esther, was in the house making us an awesome breakfast!!

Sponsoring the children == making the future of this poor world!
I would not have helped in students if I have not been sponsored before!
Wishing you every blessing!
