We had the opportunity to meet with our Kenyan students who are attending various secondary schools.  They came to Tumaini to meet with us, and receive their gift from their sponsor.  As well, we were able to hear about life at a secondary school where they board.  They start class at 5 in the morning!!!!!!  These three girls in the picture on the left are in their second year, and are very focussed on their studies, as they have clear goals!!  One wants to be a neurosurgeon!  And it was a treat to hear one say she plans to one day put someone else through school - paying it forward!
On the right, Dennis finished Tumaini in the number 1 spot last year, and is currently number 2 in his 1st year secondary class.  He just received a certificate of excellence!  You should be proud of your boy, Claire!!

Can you find the wuzungus (the white guys!) in this picture?  Trinita, Lauren and Deandra had a great deal of fun blowing bubbles for the students and the neighbourhood kids!  The screams of joy could be heard all over.
